At least 182 killed across Lebanon in large wave of Israeli strikes

Israel carried out a large wave of air strikes across Lebanon on Wednesday, which killed and wounded hundreds of people, while officials said the war against the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah continued despite a ceasefire in Iran. Israel described it as the largest wave of air strikes in this conflict, hitting more than 100 of what it called Hezbollah command centres and military sites in 10 minutes.

At day break this morning fog envel oping the whole position became thicker and at seven o'clock there were three muffled reports followed by shell bursts on three sides of the American listening post, near simi lar post of the enemy. "Then hell broke loose" said one of the men there. It is certain the enemy casualties from American fire equal or exceed ours.
