What We Collect
This site does not require user accounts, has no server-side search, and sets no cookies of its own. The only form on the site is the optional newsletter signup described below.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and your chosen delivery frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly). This information is used solely to send you the newsletter at your selected frequency.
Your data is processed by Resend, our email delivery service. We do not share your email address with any other third party.
Data retention: Subscriber data is retained for as long as the subscription is active. Upon unsubscribing, your data is permanently deleted from our database immediately.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can stop receiving emails at any time by clicking it.
Share Event Tracking
When you use the share buttons on a story page, we record the date of the story and the platform selected (e.g., Twitter, Facebook). This tracking is anonymous — no personal information, cookies, or identifiers are collected. The data is used to understand which stories resonate most with readers. Share event data is retained for 90 days and is not linked to any personal identity.
Advertising
We display ads through Google AdSense to support the cost of running this site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

For visitors in the EEA/UK/Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google will display a consent dialog when you first visit. You can choose to:
- Consent: Google will serve personalized ads based on your interests.

- Manage options: Review and customize individual consent choices.
Your choice is managed by Google's certified consent management platform and can be changed at any time by interacting with the consent dialog again.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service. It does not use any client-side state (no cookies, no localStorage) and does not track individual visitors. It collects only aggregate page view data. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.
Archive filtering (the search box on the Archive page) runs entirely in your browser. No search queries are sent to our servers.
Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) as part of their infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since the only personal data we store is newsletter subscription data, you can exercise your right to deletion by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
