Deadly suicide bombing targeting anti-militant rally in Pakistan

Constantinople. Jan. 31.—Another serious bomb outrage occurred last night in Macedonia by which large number of Turkish policemen were killed and injured. The bomb was thrown into the center of a detachment of military police in the town of Radovisht, thirty miles northwest of Monastir, and the police commissary, lieutenant of the army reserves and eight military policemen were killed instantaneously while eight other policemen, including the commander, were severely wounded. A Bulgarian has been arrested as the perpetrator of the outrage.

First Balkan War
The First Balkan War lasted from October 1912 to May 1913 and involved actions of the Balkan League (the Kingdoms of Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Montenegro) against the Ottoman Empire. The war was a comprehensive and unmitigated disaster for the Ottomans, who lost 83% of their European territories and 69% of their European population. As a result of the war, the League captured and partitioned Macedonia.

The Ohrid–Debar uprising was an uprising by the population in Western Macedonia, then Kingdom of Serbia, in September 1913. It was organized by the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO) and Albania against the Serbian capture of the regions of Ohrid, Debar and Struga after the Balkan Wars. The rebellion started only two months after the end of the Second Balkan War, and the insurgency sought to challenge Serb control of the region.
